I always think back to when I was a kid waiting to hear the new song for the first time, and I sang along as if I knew the words that I clearly didnt know. And thought for sure she was going to sing “And it feels like a prayer” instead of home.
Anyhoo….favorites are Burning Up, Dress You Up, Oh Father (well, video anyway….stunning), and Ray of Light album track Little Star. Too hard to choose just one. I also love all the fun stuff on Dick Tracy….BUT WHO’S COUNTING!!!!!

What is my favourite Madonna song? How about ALL OF THEM! The highlight for me are “Into The Groove”, “Oh Father”, “Jessie”, “You’ll See”, “4 Minutes”, “Get Together”, “Angel”, and “Burnin’ Up”.

I love singing Papa Don’t Preach. I agree with you that my favourite (yes I’m Canadian and that’s how we spell it) Madonna song would have to be Cherish. But I pretty much love that whole time period when she had the short Bleached hair and was totally beinga stripper all the time. Open your heart was such a good song.

Loved this video, it takes me back! I really like her song “Get into the groove” it reminds me of when I was 11 or so and went to see that movie she did w/rosseanna Archete. and she wore all those bracletts, I totally wanted to dress just like her. I also loved the video for Borderline. I wanted to kiss a boy like that. LOL

I am not into “4 minutes”. I know a lot of people like how Madonna is one of the few artists who constantly reinvents herself but I just don’t like how she “reinvents” herself to whatever is “in” at the moment just to keep herself famous (is “wannabe” too strong a word?) I guess I like people with real talent who can bring something new and fresh to the world and so deserve to be a celebrity - like Buck!

All of the old “Holiday”-era Madonna songs are my favorites, I can’t pick just one. Oh, and I also love that one where she’s dressed up in cowboy/western gear and she’s on some kind of treadmill with the scenery moving behind her. Say what you will about her, love her or hate her, but no other female singer in pop music history has had so many fans try to imitate her look — and damn she still looks good at FIFTY!!!!
Anyway, love you Buck! You’re my favorite YouTuber as well as fellow Connecticut native!
