This video goes with my What the Buck Show that is going up tonight! I share my personal addictions over my lifetime. It is safe to say that all of my hobbies turned into obsessions!
I don’t drink very much. Don’t smoke. No drugs. Try not to gamble- I think it is becuase I know I have an addictive personality!!!

DIET COKE!! I think I have a serious addiction to it - I have to have it!
Other than that it would def be the internet - I get cranky if I can’t get online and have to visit BHollywood, FrugallerForum and BabblingBooks.org.uk as mod/admin there and need to remove spam, of course have to check all my e-mails and refresh at least 50 times a day, visit Facebook, YouTube… not too addicted to Twitter yet.
No wonder I never get any work done LOL!

Hi my name is Jenny and I’m addicted to….
-the Internet (MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, BuckHollywood.com–I’m on here every day!)
-my cellphone
-I’ve always had a HUGE obsession on a celebrity at some point in my life….back in the day it used to be Jonathan Taylor Thomas, then it was Leo DiCaprio (we’re talking pictures all over my room, going to see their movies multiple times–I saw Titanic about 10 times in the theater alone)….now its Justin Timberlake, for about 10 years now–when he was in *NSYNC, I used to record all their interviews, concerts, and videos on TV and I had pictures of him everywhere! I’ve seen him in concert 8 times now–once in London! The latest crazy thing I did was fly to Vegas (I live in Texas) last September to see him in concert–stage tickets! I still haven’t met him though, which is the goal ofcourse…
I have more but I feel like a crazy psycho so I’m going to stop now!

My Name is Jehn and I a Big Brother Live Feed addict. I did not buy them this last season because I knew I couldn’t handle it. I just watched clips on Jokers Updates to get my fix. I knew it was bad when I started lying to work about why I was so tired. I said I couldn’t fall sleep but the truth was that I stayed up all night watching the live feeds. And then I hate myself. Especially because by the end of every season I hate everyone on the show, hate who wins, and vow to never watch it again. Then summer comes and I see a commercial and I know I am in trouble.

When I was younger I was hardcore addicted to the Olsen twins.. I’m talking watching the movies/shows several times a day.. and that was back when there wasn’t really internet so I used to make binders with pictures of them and writing stories about them and gah, I was just obsessed.
Now I’m definitely addicted to the Jonas Brothers [but not in the creepy hostile way like the scary commenters you get]. I’m 21 and a total teenybopper and my addictive personality really feeds into that. I have posters on my walls and I run a fansite for them [on myspace, my other major addiction at the moment] and I write fan fictions and I’m constantly on communities for them and spending all my money on magazines and tickets for their shows. Case and point, over the last week I went to 11 stores looking for one magazine. At some point it stopped being about JB and was just about succeeding in finding the damn thing [again, shows my addictive personality]
And… I’m addicted to Buck.

Puppets for the kids, and the muscular dude in the clingy, stretchy outfit for the grown-ups. Whoever created that show is a genius!

BEFORE I HAD COMPUTER: I would be watching TV constantly.
NOW: I am on the computer constantly.
I dont really have an addiction to it, I mean, I can live a few days without it.
But when I get on the computer, I HAVE to check these things:
-Gmail; My email. Google is my homepage so I only have to click one thing
-YouTube; Messages, Video/Channel Views, Subscibtions, ect.
-Explosm.net’s Web Comic: Cyanide & Happiness; I have to read the comic, and if I miss one, I go back and look at it. I have read them all
-Buck Hollywood/Forums; Self explanatory lol
I ALWAYS have my Bookmarks open on the side of my screen so when I get on FireFox, I open them all in a new tab. Then I check them lol. But you can always find me on the internet, eating, sleeping, at school, or camping for Boy Scouts.
Instead of addicted, I am more of “obsessed”, as some would say to Miley Cyrus. She is the absolute love of my life. I have posters and stuff. I have been to a Miley Cyrus concert before, with the Jonas Brother btw, and I have a MileyWorld.com account. $29.95 a year. I keep my official membership card in my back pocket at all times, along with my card with my picture on it from a field trip I went to, and a card about First Communion. Look at me rambling.
So I guess you could say I am “addicted” to the Internet, and Miley Cyrus.
I am deffinently one of more younger people on Buck Hollywood, so I dont drink, do drugs, or smoke. I never plan to.

I am absolutely, completely, and totally obsessed with Celine Dion. Like oh my gosh. I’ve got magazines with short articles of her from years ago. Some of them just have small name mentions but I kept them. I always listen to her songs like 24/7 too. And when I was in school I had her autobiography and I would carry it around with me and read it during the lame-o 15 minute reading class we had. I had even been threatened by my friends that they would take it if I didn’t read a different book LOL. I’m just not a reader lol. & yeah not long I ago I dished out about 350 dollars for a concert ticket of hers. & I CANNOT wait to go to the concert woo.
And… I’m not quite ‘addicted’ to youtube but I probably like it and spend a lot more time on it than the average person.

I’m really addicted to youtube. i go to bed thinking about how many subscribers i have got and worrying whether i will get more or not. i wake up and the first thought is “new comments? subscribers?” and that’s it. i can’t go longer than an hour without youtube at the moment!
I’m also addicted to Doctor Who. I watch each week’s episode at least three times a week at the moment.

i think i have attention deficit disorder. i always need to read everything more than once. sometimes im watching summin on tv, it might be a whole episode of a programme that i love and im thinking of something else. then before i know it its finished and ive not absorbed any of the information. ive got a leg like elvis presley lol, alot of nervus energy, and im the kind of person to let it build up inside, so i find that exercise helps me release it. i anylyse my thoughts and feelings alot. i get annoyed with myself. i think i have an addictive personality, i guess maybe its genetic? but i think that everything is fine as long as its in moderation. i guess im addicted to the things that i know that are bad for me, but i do it because for at least five minutes it makes me feel good. but then realise it doesnt make me feel good!!! what i have come to realise recently is that life is about enjoying the simple things. like reading a newspaper or having a cup of tea in the sunshine. sounds boring, but its easy to take things like that for granted.

I have a mySpace account and have never really used it. My one friend - Tom - and I don’t even speak to each other. I just simply don’t care for MySpace. Too many ads, too many S L O W loading webpages, too many glitter-gifs…
And now, thanks to Chris Hansen, I’m afraid to join any more social-networking sites.
A side note: Firefox has a special MySpace plugin - that will create a pop-up if you accidently click on a MySpace link: “You appear to have navigated to a page on the Internet cesspit MySpace.com. This is likely to have been a terrible mistake. Would you like to rectify this unfortunate situation?” (Well, I thought it was funny)
Anyway… addictions…
I signed up with twitter not long ago, and I’m really enjoying that. I only have a few followers (Liana, Jamie, melissaIvory, LoisLane, mashie, Ilectra.. I know I’m forgetting some). I didn’t think it would be that interesting to read that one of your fellow tweets is shopping, or cooking, or just ranting - but it is! It sort of connects me to the “outside world” when I’m stuck in here working (or avoiding work).
Forging friendships, 140 characters at a time.
To Buck: I don’t know that I would call them “obsessions” or “addictions” per se. You’re a very passionate person, and have a tendency to absorb and immerse yourself into that which interests you… or makes you happy. Or at least that’s how I see it.

I used to be OBSESSED with Plus One - a Christian boy band. So glad those days are over. It was to a very ridiculous “too much” point. Most all-consuming thing I’ve ever dealt with.
Never been quite that addicted to anything else I can remember. But, right now the internet - facebook and IRC in particular - is my top addiction.
I also have a problem with buying books - I am a very slow reader, and have read maybe 10% of the books I own, but I find them for cheap and justify my buys by saying I will read them later. I have nearly 800 books, have been collecting only perhaps four years.

I’m addicted to so many things for such long periods of time that they become obsessions. I won’t even get into the obsessions now, I’ll just try to talk about a few addictions.
Uh, youtube, twitter (thanks to you), and Frosted Flakes which I never liked until last Tuesday. O_O I don’t know what’s wrong with me sometimes. I go through these phases. But yes, now I really want Frosted Flakes.
I also have an addiction to tv/internet dramas. I watch probably over 12 programs a week. The tVo overflows and people yell at me. D: I’m addicted to really crappy things too. Like I can’t stop watching lonelygirl15. It’s awful, the writing is awful, I hate the cast ever since Jessica left, but I can’t. stop. watching. They need a support group for that.

Well I was never addicted to anything really, maybe video games when I was really younger
But then I turned 14 and my gambling addiction took place. I signed up to play poker online using a fake name. I would be online playing poker for upto 20 hours a day. Missing meals, missing sleep, locking myself in my room. It was bad. That lasted a good two years anyways
I don’t drink, smoke or do drugs so I’m good for that stuff
I am addicted to music. If I’m not at work or in class for school, I am listening to music. I listen to a lot of everything. Everything from ACDC to Zeppelin and tons in between

Then, when i’m done, i go to facebook…..i have to play werewolves,vampires, zombies,slayers….even though it’s tedious feeding them just to earn the money, i can’t stop….i have to do it….then i go to friendsonsale, pet my fluff-friend and its pets.
My one other addiction is that i have to read celeb gossip…i love perezhilton’s site…and i read dailymail’s website too…i just am tat thrashy i have to read them. i can’t make it through the day without knowing wat’s going on…..although i know it’s useless and crap but…..heh.
Well, needless to say, i am addicted to the Internet and i’m enjoying every minute of it. HAHAHA.

I’m addicted to musicals, seriously after I watch a good one; I re watch it, then download my favourite songs and find the lyrics so I can sing along with them until I memorize them. That way when they get stuck in my head it isn’t just one repetitive line
(Right now its “So you can-can-can! Or cause you cant cant cant!” from the song Zidler’s rap in Moulin rouge. Nicole Kidman was possibly the most beautiful woman ever.)
I’m also, well not so much right now, but at the time obsessed with the production Macbeth, because we did a school production of it. And I worked back stage and you know you’ve got a problem when your standing backstage lip-syncing what the actors are saying while they are on stage. On my wall above where my head goes on my bed I have a cast picture of it, a poster for it, and admission tickets for it. The brochures for it are on my night table lol.
I’m also addicted to the book series Twilight. I read the first 2 books, and I had to wait a day without having the third one, and all I could do was just sit and think about it.
I finished the series, I tried to shift my focus after reading them reading the book “looking glass wars” but all I could think of was twilight. So I had to put it down and now I’m re-reading it. And it still makes me smile, blush and giggle. I brought it to my job interview today cause I had to wait an hour and a half for them to get to me (I GOT THE JOB!) But it was embarrassing to find myself smiling and suppressing laughs in the waiting room at 9:30am. And yes. I had a dream about it. I can’t quite remember everything… but I definitely have a hetero-man crush on fictional character.
I don’t think there was a single manly word in the above statements.

Buck,
I really liked this set of videos. I too have an obsessive personality. And none of my friends do, which always makes me feel weird. I wouldn’t say I’m addictive, because I don’t feel it impedes detrimentally upon my standard of living (missing meals, affecting relationships, etc.), but when I get into something I seriously obsess. And I try to find others who share my obsessions, because I just want to talk about it endlessly. You should see me when someone mentions something I obsess over. You’d think I just won the lotto.
I used to have a slight interest in theater, but it wasn’t until about 2 years ago that I became fanatical about it — living in Boston you’d think it’d be easy going to NYC to watch shows, but it’s just so expensive, so there are times I can’t go, and I can’t tell you how upset I get. I’ve been depressed because I haven’t seen Sunday in the Park with George (and i LOVE Stephen Sondheim) and it closes this weekend. It doesn’t matter that I have the DVD of the original cast, I just feel that i HAVE to see the revival. And I bore my friends talking about it. God, i just go crazy. I’ve had so many “obsessions” I can’t even remember them all.
Anyways, i’ll stop rambling. But I have to ask, how does your family and husband feel about your obsession with YouTube and being online? Has it had any negative effects?

I guess I could say Myspace, as I recently had to have a friend of mine change my password and keep it from me. I logged in every day and would check pages I had no business checking and would get mad at people’s bulletins…etc etc
I used to be more addicted to my phone but nowadays I don’t use it as much, but before I HAD to have it with me at all times
I used to be really really into band in high school. Ha, yup BAND NERD! But not so much the musician aspect. More like the social aspect of it, because yes there is a social aspect to band depending on your school. At the high school I went to, you could pretty much be in anything and not be judged negatively so that was cool and band was actually one of the better things to be in. Anyway, there was always so much drama and jokes and problems and fun things that once my class graduated, a lot of us wanted to stay and help out during the next football season and even now if I could I would go back and try helping out but I know I gotta move on already … (yeah I know I probably sound like a loser…) Still, every now and then we’ll mention an old joke or talk about how they are so screwed this year because of crappy drum majors/section leaders/directors that don’t even care/etc. as if it’s our business still.
I think I’m also addicted to memories. Ha go figure, but while cleaning out my desk in my room today I realized just how many things I keep. I don’t throw anything away, because of the memory attached to it. At some point though, when I do these cleaning sessions, I make myself get rid of stuff. But I still have calendars from 2002 til 2007, and only because of the stuff written in them, I kept ribbons from elementary school, spent about a week or two last summer making a video with a lot of footage from high school (I wanted to make copies for people who wanted them but never got around to it), that sort of thing.
other sites, well not without myspace I check Gmail, Facebook, Youtube, and Livejournal in that order every time I open my internet browser…

Im addicted to and obsessed with Buffy. Hence the screen name. I know ive said it before because Buffy things seem to pop up occasionally on your vids, but Buffy saved my life, as lame as it sounds. I love it. Buffy is my role model, and before this past year, I was completely submerged in the Buffyverse. Like, I wasn’t in reality anymore. My life, well, it sucks, very badly, and I use Buffy as a form of escapism. I’m in reality now due to school obligations but i love Buffy so much I’ve spent thousands of dollars on Buffy merchandise, I’ve seen all the seasons 10 times over atleast. And I can practically quote full scenes. I love Buffy, it’s my saviour. Lol. I also love to read. Reading is my obsession. Especially fanfiction. I write and read Buffy and Life With Derek (yes EXTREMELY lame but I looove the actor that plays Derek haha) fanfic. I read it constantly. Even at school I’ll go on my phone and read some fanfic. haha. I also looovee the twilight books. Im a Twilighter, a Fanpire, A Totally Awesome Twilight Fan, etc. lol. They’re amazing books that kick Harry Potters nerdy ass! Well, those are my addictions. Sorry for such a long post! I’m hyper! Sorry!

Doesn’t it feel good to know you’re not the only Buffy nut in the world? I’m a sister fanatic and the show got me through the roughest parts of my teenage years including the deaths of all moms brothers and sister. When I have a problem with life I relate it to a Buffy episode, pop it in, and think well at least it could be worse lol. I know every episode back to back and my closest friends…who i’ve slyly brought into the BTVS fold love to parade me around like a Slayer Freakshow and will randomly quiz me at the strangest times sometimes with some pretty tough questions and the answer just pops out!! So i’m with you all the way!

i am sooooo addicted to ballet it’s a problem, i’m missing my high school graduation tomorrow because i decided to go to class instead of the practice for it, i have a huuuuuge ballet binder, several journals which has maifested into calorie counting addictions, it deff gets in the way of sleep i just think about dancing, what i did during class what rehearsal i have tomorrow, if i did enough during the day to warrant a good nights sleep, i spend hours and hours on youtube searching for ballet videos… and watching urs of course
it’s a problem but it’s going to be my career so i wouldnt change my addiction to it for ne thing minus the whole inability to sleep thing, that sorta sucks

When I was a little girl I was addicted to dinosaurs. Anything and everything about dinosaurs I had to have it lol!! By 1st grade I was convinced I was going to be a paleontologist(sp?) and I knew how to pronounce and spell all dinosaur names. Then in the middle school years I decided to be a veterinarian because of my love of animals, then I found out i’d have to help kill puppies and that ended really quick. As I got older my obsessions and addictions broadened to be an ultra movie buff….name a movie I probably own it*seriously i’m not joking, my collection is 2,000 movies and growing every time I get a paycheck..I can’t go to any store without buying a movie and columbia house sees me as a gold member* Also I became a huge Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan as soon as it came on television, I now own all 7 seasons including all 5 of the spin off Angel. I will always be an obsessed fan with that show and i’ve met some wonderful and sometimes famous people at those conferences. Thank you so much Buck for letting me vent about obsession and its good to know i’m not alone in the world.

okay, for starters, i’m addicted to music and the internet (of course). I don’t eat three times a day anymore, or at least not regularly. it’s like it’s my summer, all my friends are lazy b*tches, so I wake up at noon everyday. than, i get on the computer, scroll through what’s on tivo, watch any other television, be with family and then finally go to bed at 5 AM in the morning. i’m kind of wacked. it’s gonna be murder for me when i have to wake up at 6 sharp on my vacation with the fam in a couple of weeks.
another thing (that will most likely make me seem psychopatic), is an addiction to celebrities and everything surrounding them. i have no idea why. i have a special attraction to celebrities that had a main role on a tv show, and then were killed off/disappeared (i.e: Shannen Doherty - Charmed; Seth Green - Buffy). I just like imagining reunion shows for these people to shove their (made up in my own mind) perfect life.
i think it comes from insecurity issues of my own, but whatever. i’m also addicted to the food network for some reason. yeah. that one i have no explanation for. :3

I have a very addictive personality too! I try to stay away from alcohol because alcoholism runs in my family and I do nottt want to ever have to go through that! I don’t smoke or do drugs cuz I just would never want to.
I’m definitely addiced to Facebook. I have to check it everyday…often times several times a day.
This is gonna sound stupid..but I’ve always been obsessed with a different male celebrity at different times. Like they change but I’ve always gotten these massive celeb crushes. And often times they’re guys from American Idol! hahaha.
It started with Ace Young. Then that faded..but I did meet him like 3 times haha. Then Blake Lewis. Now it’s David Cook. Also I’m obsessed with the Jonas Brothers but more specifically Kevin Jonas. John Krasinski from The Office.
Actually, it all really started with Ryan Cabrera. My obsession with AI and AI boys started with Ace haha. Then also Neil Haskell from SYTYCD. I’ve met all these people except for Kevin, John and David. I plan to meet David this summer on tour though. But likee..it seems that after I met Ace and Blake and Ryan and Neil that my obsession dies down. hahahaha idk what it is but I don’t really think it’s unhealthy. I mean like it’s noticable and my family and friends will tease me but like it doesn’t have any massive affect on my life. And they’re all gorgoues so can you really blame me? hahaha.

I was thinking I might be addicted to the internet earlier today when I couldn’t remember if I had eaten or not… in my defence though, if I don’t have the internet, I eat way to much so it kinda balances out… kinda
I’ve had internet since I was in second grade when my dad worked as a computer tech. There was only one computer there at the time so I shared it with my parents and my three brothers who were all older so they got it before me so it was really tame when I was younger but I had other things for my addictive personality to do.
When I was in elementary school the thing I was probably most obsessed with was stories. I had always liked reading books but it would never just be reading. I would think about how the characters act and think outside of what’s happening and sometimes if there was something in the book worded differently then how I thought the character would say it or just a physical trait that I had already made up in my mind was different, I would change it in my mind to make me more comfortable with it. I remember I didn’t just have one imaginary friend, I had an imaginary town full of people in my mind and I would interact with them whenever no one else was playing with me and I’d make a story in everything I did with them. If I was big enough to microwave noodles or something, there would be imaginary people also making noodles and they would say their noodles was better and we’d have a contest and there’d be an imaginary judge and that was how I would spend my meal times: having fun contests and games with these imaginary people and then I’d write a small story about it in my journal at school.
Around the time I decided I was to big for imaginary friends was also around the time I got to get on the computer a lot so it was a simple switch from one to another. It wasn’t really the internet at first, it was just all the things you could do with a computer. I wrote a lot so Microsoft Word was my god and I wrote a lot more on the computer then I did on paper until it became like I am right now when I’m more comfortable typing things than writing them. (I have horrible hand writing now) Then once I got to know more about the internet it led back into the story thing because now there were people I could discuss about the books I read and the shows I watched and I could see how others see them and that’s around when I discovered my first internet addiction, fanfiction. People would put the characters I had seen and read about in different situations and it would be so interesting for me and so cool and for a long time, all I really knew about the internet was that people wrote fanfictions.
Eventually, it lead to a lot of other things. Everything on the internet is linked up in some way and I’ve really become addicted with so many different components on the internet that the internet as a whole has really taken over. Earlier today, in fact, our internet was down and I wasn’t on it cause I was doing other things but I saw my msn and all my messaging programs log off and I ended up not being able to do the things I had wanted to do off the internet because I was so uncomfortable being on a computer without working internet.
Over the summer I don’t have a lot to do until it’s almost over so I have a lot of free time on the internet. It has sort of become a problem and I’m kinda waiting for this acting camp I’m going to in a couple weeks to set my head straight. I know there are things I need to be doing but I’ve kinda been waiting for other people to tell me what to do cause I’m the youngest and I’m used to being guided in the right direction but no one’s really doing that now. I’m graduating next year and I need to start taking care of myself and doing what I know is best and not just sit around on the computer all day but I don’t do anything about it. I guess in part I’m lazy but I was never really taught how to grow up.
Wow, this ended up sounding way more serious then intended.

Also I’m totally adicted to computer games, even if I dont play them, I need to start them and realize I dont really want to play then quit, but unless I do that I go crazy. Oh and I’m crazy for Frosted Flakes

1. My fave website of all times is surfthechannel.com, which is this awesome site where you can watch about every tv show and every movie that’s ever been made, ever.
And ofcourse, I also love Youtube, and especially the WTB?! show :).
2. Thanks to surfthechannel, I am now absolutely hopped up on TV shows.
My fave’s are House and Supernatural. I absolutely love both, and not only do I watch them online every day (and I also rewatch old episodes), I know all these little facts about my fave actors (did they go to college? If so, where? What did they study? Do they have siblings? If so, what are their names?) I know, scary.
3. I don’t hate the new homepage, but I’m not thrilled with it either.

As a little girl, I was addicted to playing Monopoly and pogo stick…would spend HOURS and HOURS every day. As a “tween” I was addicted to buying “45s” and Tiger Beat magazine, had to have every record of every song I liked, and HAD to have the mags to cut out the pictures of Davy Jones and Donny Osmond! As a young woman, I became addicted to cigarettes (coughcough) which I still have (coughcough). And now, as an old lady it’s just Vicodin and Mad Dog!

As far as addictions, I have a very addictive personality too, and I get very obsessed with things and then move on to something else, like I get very addicted to movies (Like moulin rouge, I was reading about it, and then got obsessed with ewan mcgregor) The beatles I went into beatles overdrive and got all sorts of books and got the anthology dvds and read about them and got all the cds (from library or my dad) and would talk about it constantly (hence why my name on the forum is strawberry fields lol) um..I was addicted to ice skating but not to the extent that you were back in the day but tv shows, melrose place & sex and the city I am addicted to, I was upset when they didn’t tape or got accidentally deleted on the dvr a while back, internet definitely!!! Twitter, buckhollywood, the forum, I haven’t watched a yt video other than yours in so long so I would say I’m addicted to you too!! lol & that’s just off the top of my head too. I know that I drove people crazy with the beatles thing still love them but it’s funny that I will go through something that I’m addicted to and it’s ALL I can talk about or do, until I move unto the next obsession haha. I always had an animal that I was absesed about. IN pre-k it was pigs until 2nd grade when I swiched over to lions till 4th grade. Now I am going into 9th and it is horses & squirrels. lol

I’m from New Hampshire and I moved to Tennessee three years ago. I’ve always loved the New England teams, but since I started living down here it has become a fierce addiction. I think it’s because 1: Nashville only has two professional teams, the Titans and the Predators and 2: When you move from your hometown I think reigonal pride goes WAY UP! So I love showing off all my Red Sox, Patriots, and Celtic stuff and I follow each sport constantly.
Promise your addiction for Youtube will stay for a while. It would be sad if you left.

When I was in elementary school, I was totally obsessed with Harry Potter. I was obsessed with it. I couldn’t sleep without thinking about it. I had an account on every Harry Potter site I could find.
I was most obsessed with the character Sirius Black, and when he died, I bawled my eyes out, and that was the end of my fandom.
I guess I am pretty addicted to the internet. I go on every single day. And if I don’t go on in every chance I get to, I feel really really bad, so I end up going on the computer even though I have nothing to do. Heh.

i have always been addicted to something. i remember that when i was 9 years old i drank 3 or more litres of coffe per day. But the coffe in Brazil is so good that is easy to drink litres and litres of it. then i finally got over that when i was 13, because i moved to the UK and most of the coffe here is instant and i haaaaaaaaaaate instant coffe.
but then i got addicted to barbies… i was supposed to be acting like a teenager but i was obcessed with buying as much barbies as i could. i soon got over that as everyone who found out i collected barbies told me i should be out with boys, not playing with dolls, so i gave all of my barbies to my cousin… i remember crying for a whole week! lol
at 14 i got obsessed with watching music videos. i’d stay up until 4am watching music videos till i finally fell asleep. my grades began to drop more and more as i was sleeping in school, so my mom had all the music channels removed…
at 15 i got adicted to CDs and DVDs… i’d buy 10 or more per week, depending on how much money i had. i wouldnt even eat out so that i’d be able to buy more…. well, money ran out so i had to give that up… it was an expensive addiction..
i remember being addicted to books not long ago. i have a library next to my house and everyone can borrow up to 10 books at once, and i’d get 10 books and still ask for my friend’s library card, as she doesn’t read much, so that’s 20 books altogether. i read a book with approximately 400 pages in 50 minutes. all the librarians know me, and they are so amazed that i can read so fast. i know the library better than they do as i’ve read 90% of the books, and i know which ones are good and which ones aren’t. i grew out of that as i think it was having an effect on my eyesight. and my mom told me i’ll go cross-eyed if i dont stop reading so much. I dont know if she was serious or was just trying to scare me, either way, better not risk it. and besides, i kinda got bored as i had read all the good books in the library. but whenever i go back in there the librarian asks me what new books are coming out, as i know all new titles coming out and when. old habits are hard to break, i guess.
nowadays i’m addicted to internet, which isnt exactly good for my eyesight either, but i cant help it! i’m always on youtube, here, and i just found a new website: myminilife.com, and i spend all day and night there. its 3 am and instead of sleeping i’m on the website.. i havent eaten all day cos i was too busy on the internet.. i have to stop, your video made me realise my addiction is getting worse…… i got all the symptoms you mentioned on youtube… i havent been out with my friends ever since i’ve had internet. and that was months ago.
when i do go out, its only because i really, really have to buy food and pay for something etc. i try to make it back home as fast as i can though, and all the while i’m on the bus or on the streets all i can think about is getting home and going on the internet.
i always have to concentrate all my energy on one thing, i dont know why. i have been that way my whole life.

I was addicted to Pokemon and Sailor Moon when I was real little, but now I am obsessed with Harry Potter! Every day I check the internet for a new trailer for HP6, coming out November. I also get really into whatever series I’m reading even if it’s not that good, and after I read the book, I make it a priority to see the movie ASAP! Then I compare the book to the movie, and even if I’m by myself I say, “That wasnt in the book!” I also spend more then half my time on the cumputer playing solitare, which I am addicted to!

Well, when I first discovered You tube, I found YOU and I was obsessed with checking your channel all the time. You made me laugh and then I got my husband into your channel. You are very addicting!
I’m obsessed with musicals and singing. I have music on all the time. I’m always singing at work, at home when I am out in public. I cannot help it. I wish life was a giant musical and we had to sing everything we say!
I am also addicted to post apocalyptic world novels and movies. Even more so if they include zombies. I just absolutely love the idea of survival and what if this or that happened to our earth/world kind of scenarios.
I recently ran a 5k for Race For The Cure and now I am addicted to running. I am getting ready for my next 5k coming up in October and I am trying to log as many miles as I can before then.
I have an addictive personality so I need to be careful with what I get into.

i deffinately addicted to music. now i know that is probably very cliched but i really truly am. i subscribe to a canadian music magazine and i live in virginia, you have no idea the price on shipping so i might just have to cope with their website. i was going to get a british magazine but $150 for 10 issues of a magazine i simply wouldn’t be able to afford such a hefty price tag but i do check their website often and i discover many new artists through them. anyway, my current favorite band is the kooks right now, they aren’t that big out here but they are in england and i listen to their songs everyday and boy do i love them! i saw them lsat year and they were oh so amazing and i’m going to see them september 8 and i am looking forward to it!

I have gone with food and sleep. Hell last night
I only got 3 hours of sleep because I was too
busy Roleplaying on MySpace. And thats okay.
I can lose the weight. And with sleep, I can’t
escape it. When my body really needs it I will
crash out. Stress can make life interesting. After
all I know its just a fake world and not real. I don’t
have real life things to really worry about. So I
worry about my Character and her storyline.

Well I must admit I have a pretty obsessive personality too..
When I was younger I was addicted to Harry Potter, and a site called NeoPets. Then I fell for this straight guy and he became the center of my life. And uhm right now I’m obsessed over Edward Cullen and anything relating Twilight series…
I’m also addicted to water. I can’t stop drinking it! I’ve never drank alcohol so yeah. Or smoked. Or tried drugs. So basically that’s it. I was obsessed over MapleStory last summer (game) and well that’s my story. I think.

We share one of the same addictions. How wonderful!
I am officially and completely addicted to theater. Now that it’s summer I have to go to about two shows a month. This month it’s Young Frankenstein on the 2th and the [title of show] opening on the 5th. And Gypsy on the 17th. I spend all of my money on it, so it’s almost like ticketmaster is my dealer.
Anyway, I’m always being told to find a new hobby, but I don’t want to. Sometimes I even annoy myself. It used to be an obsession when I was young, but it’s just grown with age. Oy vey.
Oh, and Raul Esparza is another. (Which kind of relates to theater.) I have his picture of him as Bobby on my night stand and I kiss it every night before going to bed.
My family worries about me.

First & foremost im addicted to TV. Soap Operas, Reality Shows, Dramas, Comedies. You name it - I watch it. Seceond most I’m addicted to Youtube. Which really bites for me because I get stuck watching my TV on my Internet. Never sleep - that’s me. Never eat - nope sorry. What else am I supposed to do while waiting for stuff to load? I luv my addiction, & i dont want out!!!!

Same here! No drugs, no smoking. I knew I had too addictive a personality to ever quit, and didn’t wanna start something I couldn’t stop. hehe
SOOOO ADDICTED TO THE INTERNETS.
I’m pretty much fused to my email, youtube, and IM software. Played WAY too much Spore. I’m recovering from a gaming addiction I think. Kicked WoW… although I did play The Sims 2 from 7pm to midnight last night… lol I think I’d be more addicted to games, but lately they suck. Thank god movies coming out look better.

I don’t watch TV either unless I download from iTunes. I’m completely addicted to all things Mac (the computers and cosmetics), and loooooove hunting iTunes for new or underappreciated music.

I’m addicted to my boyfriend. Like not just in love with him, but if something goes wrong and I can’t see him, I throw fits and scream at everyone around me.
I’m also addicted to yaoi (gay anime porn). I read it, write it, watch it, and think about it all the time. Although I don’t go through withdrawal with yaoi like I do with my boyfriend, so I guess that’s a plus.
And I’m definitely addicted to sleep. I’m like ALWAYS sleeping. I sleep at least 12 hours a night usually, not including naps car rides. I’ve been to the doctor and got blood tests to check for anemia and whatnot, and the results came back fine. So I guess I just really, really like sleep.
And I guess the final thing I’m addicted to is Phoenix Wright. It’s a lawyer sim video game, and I’m always either playing it or thinking about it. This ties in with my yaoi addiction, since most of my writing is based on PW. And I have a LiveJournal dedicated to the series and my fanfic, too.
But I don’t really have an addictive personality. Those are the only things I’ve ever been addicted to. I just happen to really like those things. I’ve tried smoking, drinking, and drugs, and I never got addicted. With the exclusion of those four things above, I think I have an ANTI-addictive personality.
